November 2009 - major update on Barlows as part of an audit of all my Brice line - William Barlow 1801 completed.
October 2009 - further range of updates including Surry ancestry and the family of Elizabeth Bromwich nee Rose (daughter of Robert Rose and Amy Mason), plus various 1911 census updates
September 2009 - range of updates including substantial Rumble and descendant information.
28 August 2009 - minor 18th century Middleditch updates
2 February 2009 - Site restructured to incorporate a much smaller home page - the intention is that a smaller page will load more quickly than the previous home page - which now forms the basis of the "Using this Site" page. Some old pages removed/consolidated in the restructure. Given the size of the alphabetical all blood relatives pages, these have now been broken down into a page per name, and more anchors introduced on the family pages so that the links from the all blood relatives "index" pages can be more sharply defined/accurate.

23 January 2009 - updates covering two Middleditch wills and two Danns' wills, plus further 1991 census updates. 20 January 2009 - a number of updates resulting from a further trip to the Essex Archives - this time finding the elusive Mary Middleditch via her married name in Nathaniel Middleditch's will, and locating the family of Sarah Theobald - wife of William Carter #1. This is the first of a series of updates reflecting the two recent visits to the archives, and first findings from the 1911 census. 10 January 2009 - a number of updates on Middleditch pages. Not least, having stared lovingly for about 5 minutes at the marriage entry on the Widford Parish registers for Nathaniel Middleditch and his new wife Ann at the Essex County Archives a few days ago, I have decided that her name is Sorrell, and not Sorrill as has been transcribed elsewhere. This site has hopefully been updated to reflect that. 2 January 2009 - a number of further minor updates on Mason and Middleditch pages 28 December 2008 - a range of minor updates for the Great Chesterford crew - Rose, Danns, Surry and Mason pages. 22 December 2008 - some site restructuring to reflect the competing claims to be Frank Baker #1. 21 December 2008 - minor updates and loading of majority of family background pages in a revised page format. 15 December 2008 - Major Gibbs update, in particular members of the family of Richard Gibbs who emigrated to Ontario, Canada. 11 December 2008 - Minor updates to William Luetchford page, and other small corrections. 10 December 2008 - Updates to most Carter pages. 3 December 2008 - Updates to George Brice and other pages. 2 December 2008 - Miscellaneous updates across a number of pages. 29 November 2008 - Updates to James and William Pond pages, and to Mary Ann and James Gibbs pages. Also, as a consequence, update to Kissing Cousins page. 23 November 2008 - Updates to Eliza Bransden and Albert Quinton pages. 18/19/20 November 2008 - Updates to William and Alice Luetchford pages. 23 May 2008 - Sarah Rose census updates. 8 March 2008 - Site loaded onto 110MB webspace, following (hopefully temporary) loss of service on Rootschat web server.
