I have captured data, since November 2005, on users of this website through StatCounter.com. This is to help me understand what pages are being visited and where people are being referred from. I have also collected data via Google Analytics since June 2006. StatCounter provides me with good data on a visit by visit basis - but only holds detailed data for the last 100 pageloads. Google Analytics retains much more data and should prove to be more helpful in looking at trends.
